After five weeks of lock-down it was great to spend a day with a picnic in this game reserve and enjoy the game and flora. A bonus was that the manager allowed us to picnic on the veranda of their signature lodge, Lead-wood Lodge. It was sad to see this superbly built lodge empty of staff and guests. Thank you Tala for this kindness and I hope your guests will come flooding back, you deserve support especially since it is only half an hour from Pietermaritzburg and 45 minutes from Durban.
