After 3 days of rain the Durban Hindu Temple in Somtseu road was shining out like a beacon in the morning sun. This temple was one of three built by descendants of the original Indian settlers. Two were demolished to make way for the magistrates courts and Durban Station. This Temple is in immaculate condition and well utilized by the Hindu worshippers. This Temple was opened in September 1901. It certainly adds color to the locality.
