Marian Villa, in Alexander Road, which is now a retirement home, was built in 1914 by Dr Conrad Akerman and named Coneth-Moar. This home represents many of the iconic homes built in this period and has had many names ,as it has been bought and sold over the last century. (Lansdown, Whittingham).
